SWTOR Character Tales Universes Update: Fates of the Characters

Welcome back, my beautiful freaks, to the Assassin's Den!

Now, in yesterday's blog entry when I brought up how all characters exist in both universes, there was some confusion as to where they were and whether or not they'll show up in the other story.  The answer is somewhat complicated; most will not show up in the other story, but some will, and will even be relevant to the plot.  With that in mind, I'm going to do my "Fates of the characters" entry today, rather than wait.  So, here we go.

Ragdat: Ragdat's opening chapter starts the same; starts on Nar Shaddaa, recruited by Master Tila Koon, but instead of becoming Orgus Din's Padawan, he came to Tython a day later, and became a different Jedi Master's Padawan.  However, he was involved in the war against the Sith Empire, and eventually became a Master in his own right and taught lightsaber combat to advanced students.  Unfortunately, Ragdat dies protecting several members of Suthazi's Padawan Collective during a retreat.

Vedere: Her story in Mamine's universe is far less pleasant.  Instead of Visas Marr helping her on Katarr, Vedere was overwhelmed and psychologically broken by her experience there.  She returned to Alpheridies, having gone insane and fallen to the Dark Side, where she was institutionalized and remains there, even after the timeskip.  The Luka Sene consider a lesson in the dangers of unchecked ambition.

Vizhdam: Obviously, he doesn't become Vedere's bodyguard, though he does still become a Battlemaster of the Jedi Order, teaching students in lightsaber combat.  However, without Vedere around to protect, he disappears and does not show up in Mamine's story.

Adaso: Adaso went to the Sith Academy a month later in Mamine's universe, and was apprenticed to Darth Decimus, serving him as both a military asset, and advisor, eventually being made a Lord.  After Decimus' death on Corellia, Adaso returned to his family estate, and starts learning how to become a proper lord of his house.  He died when Acinna attacked House Adas during the timeskip.

Koyi'shak: She was one of the many slaves sent through the Sith Academy around the same time as Casek and Yokonari were, but instead, she was snatched up by Tavella, a Darth Revan researcher unconnected to the Revanites, that made Koyi'shak an apprentice.  She was eventually raised to a Darth herself, taking the name "Darth Nox" herself instead of having it given to her, and eventually went off on her own for her own research, but not taking the entire Sphere of Ancient Knowledge with her as she does in Ragdat's universe.

Amelisan: Her story's a lot happier.  She so happened to be sick the day of the Sacking, so she wasn't on that bus on that fateful day.  She actually went on to continue her career as an opera singer, and is famous for that in Mamine's universe.

Maircus: He's still a bounty hunter, but he did not get into the Great Hunt like he does in Ragdat's universe.  At the point when Mamine disappeared, he had finally made it onto the galactic stage, working as a bounty hunter we have in this world; capturing, not killing, criminals, and bringing them back for their trials after skipping out on bail.  His most famous saying is "I'm not some thug for hire; I'm a bounty hunter."

Allisani: She never left Csilla.

Curoda: Still a smuggler, still lost her brother to radiation toxicity, and eventually came to work for Hylo Visz.  So, if anyone is seen in both universes at the Alliance base, it's Curoda.

Mamine: In Ragdat's universe, Mamine was not picked up by the Jedi.  She was eventually declared a Savage, and exiled.  By this point, she had fallen completely to the Dark Side, and had to be struck down by a Jedi that the Cathar called for.

Anstrisil: In Ragdat's universe, thanks to the efforts of Dark Side Jaesa, the entire White Knight Order was purged, and Anstrisil, who had been thinking about defecting but hadn't gotten around to it, died in the purge.

Yokonari and Casek:  Yokonari and Casek escaped the Jaesa-led purge of Yokonari's family, due to their knowledge of how to hide their Light Side aura. They became researchers and eventually lovers.  However, they died in the Zakuulan attacks on Dromund Fels.

Now, some show up in both, though they won't be referenced in both; Hardatt and Azulini will both be members of the Alliance in both universes, with the same relationship with each other, but they won't be any more than background dressing in Ragdat's universe. ColMallus will also be a clan leader on Darvannis in Mamine's universe, though again, he'll be little more than background dressing, with little more than just a mention of how strange it will be to see a Mandalorian with a lightsaber.

As for Daashla Myr and Brosra, they'll be mentioned in both universes, but they'll only show up in one or the other. You'll see what I mean when it is time for them to show up in the stories.
